When I arrived at Clearsprings, I was at the end of my rope. Medically I was diagnosed as having severe depression. I had abnormally low blood sugar and blood pressure. Due to withdrawal symptoms, I was unable to get off the prescribed anti-depressants. After thirty days on the systemic detox program, I feel renewed. Last year I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome. I was being treated by an alternative medical doctor who was using therapies to address the Systemic Candida and Epstein-Barr virus that came with my CFIDS. Over two years ago I was exposed to an ammomia leak which changed my life. I began to develop symptom after symptom. After months of this I was told it was anxiety and they wanted to put me on an anti-depressant… I found a doctor out of town that did tests and diagnosed me with MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivities). I was unable to go anywhere or be around anything that smelled. I lived daily with symptoms such as brain fog, numbness, muscle spasms, back and neck pain, joint and muscle aches and pains, headaches and allergic reactions to things. When I began the program, I couldn’t think or see clearly. I lived on nasal sprays to be able to breathe through my nose. I took a lot of aspirin and Advil for pains all over my body.
