At Clearsprings Health Center, we recognize the innate
ability of every person to be healthy
and happy. We value the right to
live a productive life, governed by one's own self-
determinism, free
of the physical environmental influences that create a barrier to the
expression
of personal freedom. To this end, we are dedicated to
removing the physical
barriers that
prevent the expression of the individual's
life potential. At Clearsprings, we seek
to find and
deliver
science-based,
drug-free programs that restore one's natural vitality and
rehabilitates the
person to their optimum level of health. We do not
use or promote the
inappropriate, irrational or
unnecessary use of
drugs in the treatment of any health disorder.
While we recognize that
pharmaceutical drugs are a necessary and beneficial component in
the
treatment regimen of
many health conditions, at Clearsprings, we strive to
rehabilitate the
physical and mental
condition of each individual to a
level that minimizes the need for drug
intervention.
Our goal is
to utilize the powerful forces of

recuperative power of each
individual in
attaining a higher level of clarity and

The
History of
Clearsprings Health Center
Our Health Intensives are the culmination of years of clinical
research by Dr. Michael Broeg into
the nature of health and the
treatment of disease. Founded in 1985 as a research clinic,
Clearsprings
Health
Center has provided a wealth of information on the successful
treatment
of
many of the chronic and degenerative diseases prevalent
in today’s society. Known as the
New Life Program, this
remarkable process has
been able to consistently and dramatically
improve
the health status of patients who were unable to get results from
either conventional
or alternative
health methods.
Further research has revealed that by applying these same methods to
healthier people,
individuals
are able to experience a quantum leap in
their overall state of health and well being.
Consistent
with your goals, you will have an in-patient program
written and delivered during
your stay. In addition, after your program has progressed and
developed, you will receive a
written follow-up program
that will allow you to retain and further advance your gains once
you
return
home.

Michael Broeg, DC, Director
Dr. Michael Broeg is the Founder and Director of
Clearsprings. Dr. Broeg is a Chiropractic
Physician,
researcher,
writer and lecturer on health-related topics. Dr. Broeg has 23 years
of
clinical
experience specializing in musculoskeletal
correction, diet and nutrition as well as
extensive
experience
in environmental and iatrogenic chemical
detoxification techniques and
other
natural health care methods. The
opening of Clearsprings Health Center in 1996 was the
product of years
of dedication to find and correct the underlying cause of chronic and
degenerative health disorders.
As a Chiropractic Physician, Dr. Broeg has always taken an approach to
health care delivery
that recognizes and utilizes the innate ability
of a person to be healthy and stable within their
environment. Dr. Broeg explains, "The art, philosophy and science of Chiropractic is a
very
rational application of biology to the field of health care. The
basic premise of removing the
underlying cause of disease and
restoring the body's homeostatic balance has always been a
solid
foundation for what is today known as alternative health care. The
science of Chiropractic
is rich with knowledge and technology for
identifying and correcting the underlying factors that
adversely
effect human physiology."
Chiropractic science focuses on the healthy function of the nervous
system as a primary factor
in the restoration and maintenance of
health. The three most significant areas of concern in the
cause of
disease are mechanical stress, chemical stress and emotional stress.
Many of the
successful techniques used at Clearsprings are the end
product of this philosophy.
Over the past 10
years, Dr. Broeg's research efforts have focused on the treatment of
chemical
and radiation related illness. To this end he developed the
New Life Program, a method of
treating many of today's non-infectious
degenerative diseases by safely and effectively
removing harmful
chemicals and radiation from body tissues. Dr. Broeg relates, "It has
been
an
interesting and exciting project. We set out to see what all
we could treat with our methods
and in the course of our research,
developed a system known as Systemic Detoxification. I
was
pleasingly surprised by our results in handling many today's chronic
non-infectious diseases
that none of the other mainstream or
alternative methods were effectively addressing. The
difference
between this and other detoxification techniques is that we effect
all of the body
tissues. Most importantly we have a method of cleaning up
the brain and nervous system. This is
paramount in successfully
treating these conditions as well as elevating the health and
potential of everybody
on this planet."
In 1998,
The Foundation for Advancement in Healthcare, a non-profit
public benefit
corporation, chose Clearsprings Health Center as its
partner for the purpose of expanding
research on chemical related disorders and helping those
who could not otherwise afford
treatment. "The problem was that most
of the patients being referred had been disabled by
their
conditions and consequently didn't posses the means to seek our
treatment. I also have
a special purpose to help our veterans who had
put their lives on the line for us, received
chemical and radiation
related injuries in the line of duty and were ultimately abandoned by
our government", explains Dr. Broeg, so our relationship with the
Foundation is a good fit.
Today the Foundation for
Advancement in Health Care continues to fund research at
Clearsprings
Health Center.
Reaping the Benefits
of Research
Today, Dr. Broeg has turned his efforts and focus
to applying his methods for the
benefit of healthier
individuals. Utilizing the powerful techniques developed for the New
Life
Program, Dr. Broeg now offers shorter and more easily accessible
Natural Health Programs
that have a rejuvenating and revitalizing
effect on any participant. The focus of his research
has turned from
'what can be successfully treated', to 'how fast and effectively can
we make
the average person really healthy'. The culmination of this research is
now in the Natural
Health Programs presently available at Clearsprings. "It's really a lot of fun at this point",
gleams Dr. Broeg,
"the application of my techniques to healthy people is like
strapping a
rocket-pack on their back. You can just launch them into a
more stellar range of health, and
optimize their personal potential.
I've been working on a new thing here lately. The goal for
my Natural
Health Programs is 'ONE YEAR PER DAY'. In other words, we'll take one year
off
of your physical age for every day you spend at Clearsprings. We're
already very close and
closing in on that target."
